I was responsible for the User Experience design of Squrl, and many earlier experiments. Squrl and it's derivative experiences were built as a Web client, iOS Client, and various experiments with player-only features on XBox, embedded car infotainment, and more. The basic premise was to allow for easy collection and discovery of web video from anywhere on the web. If the user wanted to curate their video into collections (playlists) for others, or save keyword searches for playback. Squrl unfortunatly shuttered it's doors in late 2013.
